Lost our world

After weeks building our world, someone named RadioactiveSword came into the server, immediately started looting our chests and destroying buildings. We asked him to leave, and he invited friends in, who all joined in the plundering. 

We rarely mess with settings, so it took awhile to shut down the server. We changed the name of the world in the online server settings, which seems to have had the unfortunate effect of starting us a new, blank world, which RadioactiveSword followed us to. 

So question number 1, Can we get our world back? When we changed the name of the world back to world, it just opened another new world. When I type /worlds, or /op , it says I don't have permissions... 

Question number 2, if it's possible to go back to before it was vandalized?

Hey, you should immediately install the coreprotect plugin as you'll be able to fix it the next time. Furthermore, to only let you and your friends join, you need to go in the server Dashboard, click on Edit Server and then under server command type /op NAME, where NAME is your name. That will make you an operator and will let you access many commands, such as /whitelist

If you want to be able to whitelist your server (aka make it so only the players you choose can join) you need to type /whitelist on and then /whitelist add NAME, where NAME is the name of the person you want to be able to join. That will make it so only the players in the whitelist list will be able to join 

From the next time if you encounter any issues don't reset the world but ask in here saying what happened and saying that you have coreprotect. Unluckily after you reset the world going back to the old one might not be possible but you should try asking in https://minehut.com/support/form anyways
