Nether Portals not working

Everytime I create a new nether portal in the Overworld, instead of making one in the nether it will just find the nearest portal in the nether and teleport me out there. When i go back through it takes me to the first place it was created. If this makes any sense to anyone and knows how to fix it, it would be a great help

Hey!

Sadly thats just a Minecraft thing, there is no way to fix this, other than only having 1 nether portal.

Ok well that’s annoying but at least I have figured out how to link up portals,

May i ask how u were able to link it because i have the same problem on my server
