For the past two days, two of my friends and I were happily building a PALACE on our Minehut server (a palace from a movie that means a lot to us). We had spent ALL of our time working on it, making the palace look exactly like our favourite movie, K-12. Last night at 12am, we closed the server so nobody else could go on it, and we went to sleep, eager to continue the next day. So this morning we wake up, open the server, go on Minecraft, only to see that EVERYTHING IS DESTROYED. We had made A LOT of progress for only 2 days, complicated builds and castle-like resemblances, and it's all GONE. Holes EVERYWHERE, spotty and scattered damage, random blocks placed in random places in a snake form (like if someone was trying to practice bridging), water EVERYWHERE. This couldn't have been done by another player, it was too randomly damaged and affected EVERYTHING we had built. Side note, when we opened the server, it was raining. But a Minecraft storm couldn't have done THIS much damage??
My friend had copied the whole building and creations to his clipboard so that if anything ever happened he could paste it again, so hopeful, we tried it. DIDN'T WORK, it said there was nothing in his clipboard. We are discouraged and disappointed: all of our time we spent making a beautiful creation, WASTED.
We could rebuild it but for what? For this to happen ALL OVER AGAIN? This was some kind of virus-y glitch or fault in your server, not anything a storm or Minecraft monsters could ever do. We can't believe this happened, we were so excited to continue building and now sadly we see no point in rebuilding everything from scratch because of this fault. I can't stress this enough.. we were making A PALACE, a complex build with carefully added details, many hours spent on it. And overnight it's DESTROYED? It was closed! This is a glitch that surely you could undo? Just make it the way it was before we went to sleep, untouched. Undo any recent changes to the server? DO SOMETHING?!?! PLEASE
If I don't get any response to this, you're obviously a SCAM and wasted all of our time and creativity and that is really disappointing. I have a following of 12 thousand and will notify them of this major issue if you don't fix it, staff contact me ASAP or someone PLEASE HELP
