Hey, if you've bought minecraft on the mojang/minecraft website then try restarting your game and your launcher and connecting to minehut.com, otherwise it's because you're using cracked minecraft and you can't play with cracked on minehut

I also recommending signing in again as this normally fixed the problem.

none of this worked. even though i am sure i dont have a cracked MC account nor cracked launcher even though it worked for me before.

if the minehut servers are down for maintenance, then it means what it says.  but you can still join a minehut server that is down for maintenance by going to the minehut lobby and using the /join <server name> command.  hope this was helpful.
