How would I go about stopping griefers from messing up me or my friends servers?

Just today alone Me and my friends have encountered 3 griefers, 2 people who were trying to advertise, and 1 bot who Spammed The N-word for about 10 seconds before they left. How do I stop them from entering My Friends and I's servers indefinitely?

I'm so sorry this happened. To fix this do /whitelist on (with op, if you don't have operator permissions, do /op (username) in the console panel) and then do /whitelist add (username) and add your friends user names one by one. I hope this helps

Also, if you have op, you can /kick (username) and /ban (username) to get users off of your server.

Well if you want to you can do /ban <player> or if they are spaming you can do /mute <player> or you can do /whitelist on then whitelist off <player name> I am happy to help you if you need it but I had the same thing only I got griefed 5 times  over a time span of 24 hours and the same thing every day it is annoying so if I helped you please message me back I am happy to help everyone get rid of griefers
