Command Blocks are empty even after putting commands in there!

So i was making my server in mine-hut, then i wanted to add a command block to do a command in my world, i turned on command blocks in my server's control panel, then restarted the server and i gave myself a command block then once i typed in the command, i exited the command block GUI then click on the command block again but the commands i had typed in the command block weren't there anymore! Can anyone help me, because i even tried putting other random commands such as /kill MythCraftMC and stuff and after exiting the command block GUI and opening it again, the commands disappeared, and due to that i can write anything in my command blocks now since they will disappear. My server is version is, 1.8.x

Hello! Replying to what you said,  make sure command blocks are enabled! go to minehut.com >> dashboard >> settings and go down a bit. Find a section named "Command Blocks" and make sure that at the bottom there is a purple line, if not click it and it will become purple. Purple means its on/activated. If command blocks are still not working, maybe msg a staff member or you may msg me in game so I can come online and help you out.
