Minecraft update.

I've been wondering. Currently my Minehut server is in 1.15.2.
If Minecraft updates to 1.16, will we lose all progress?
1. I have not entered the Nether yet, the chunk have not been loaded. Should I wait until the update is launched?
2. Will I lose the overworld progress?

Hey! I believe that there will be problems after the update, like with every other version. If your world is in 1.15.2, then it will stay at 1.15.2. I'm not sure if it's going to change according to what version the server is on, but I believe that it won't. What I suggest you to do is /dl world (world name) from your server. With that you can be assured that you will not lose any progress, but you must manually download it every time.
