what just happend?

i was in my server and i was riding back to a friends house on my horse and i glitched back about 10-15 blocks and then i just DIED, i don't know what happend but it said i hit the ground too hard. i dont use hacks my computer could'nt even support a good hack client and i dont see the use in hacks, anyway it dos'nt really bother me because i can get a new horse BUT when i returned to the area where i died my stuff was just g o n e. no XP, no items nothing and i search the area even though i know exactly where the glitch happend but theres nothing?!! i really want someone to explain what just happend please.

Hi, firstly, this is not the correct category. This belongs in the "Community Support" category. This area of the forums is intended for advertising your server.

 

This is not something that can happen naturally in Minecraft. Minecraft items do disappear after a certain amount of time when they're on the ground, however. Are you sure that your friend or a mob did not push you over, off a cliff or something similar?
