What are we looking for in a builder

We are looking for creative, active and skilled individuals to be applying for the build team. We expect you to have a good understanding of the game mode in Pulsate. We expect you to be able to work on a team well and have good communication skills. If you are applying for the build team you must make sure you have a lot of building experience and design in general. We also expect you to be mature and helpful on any of the platforms associated with Pulsate.

How to submit a good application

If you want to increase the chances of your application being accepted, i totally recommend reading through this thoroughly as there are some useful tips in here.

Make sure you have a good portfolio. The main thing we judge you on as a builder is your port folio. We expect 5 or more detailed builds on your port folio so we can properly judge your building skill and see if you meet the team requirements. If you feel that you don't have enough builds to impress us on your port folio then we recommend building something new and recent. This would also be helpful as it would show us your building skill recent to the application.

Make sure you use good grammar and don't make spelling mistakes. A vital part of applying for any team is that you make a good first impression. We hope to see you being mature and informative on your application. If we see very detailed and elaborate answers to the questions then it will massively increase your chances for being accepted.

Most importantly, try your best. The worst that can happen is we don't accept the application. Good luck and give it a good shot!

Process

Stage 1 - The application stage

This is the first stage in becoming a builder on Pulsate. Make a good first impression!

This stage can be seen as the most important stage in applying for builder on Pulsate. The application stage is where you give your first impressions. This is your chance to impress us and show us you are a mature, cooperative individual that is ready to join our team and fit to work with others. Make sure your port folio is substantial and contains the required amount of builds in it!

Stage 2 - The test stage

This is the next stage in applying for the build team on Pulsate. You will have a chance to show us your building skills.

If you made it to this stage, you passed the application stage. This stage is a test where we judge you and how you build. You select a time which works with you and us and you build something. You get to chose what you build in this stage but it must be substantial and appropriate otherwise we wont allow it. If you mess around with picking the theme you will be kicked out of the process.

Stage 3 - The trial stage

This is the final stage in the application process. This is if you passed the build test stage.

If you passed stage 2, you will now be in the trial stage. This is a period from 2 - 5 days where we will be tracking your process and seeing how you perform on our team. We will be looking into factors like your team work and how active you are. We expect to see you fitting in and providing that extra hand to our build team. We want to see you getting along well with the other builders or you will be kicked off the team.

Requirements

You must be of 13 years of age.

You must have a good understanding of the Pulsate server.

You must have a working microphone.

You must have a good knowledge of how to use build tools such as voxelsniper and world edit.

You must have past experience with building.

You must be able to work well on a team.

No inappropriate names.
