/mute and /ignore are not working

I want to /mute a player on my minehut server and /ignore another however, it will not work. The command /ignore is there but when i do it, it wont ignore the player. /mute is not there and i cant mute anyone. Is there maybe a way to make these two commands work?

You need plugins for those to work, if you already have plugins, they may not work because a needed dependecy is required. Could you tell me what the logs where when you did /ignore and /mute?

There is not a built in /mute command on minehut. You can download plugins such as AdvancedBan or Essentials to use commands such as these. With /ignore, have you tried doing it in the lobby? (/ignore ignores a player when they /msg you, not when they speak normally in chat).
