A Terrific Night.

One day, on a frightening night. Two boys, one boy named Jack who had blonde hair and blue eyes and another boy named Jackie with dirty-Blonde hair and dark brown eyes were home alone. They heard their front door open, so Jack decided to yell out "Who's there!". Over ten seconds go by, and they still don't hear a response. So, Jack, the older one starts heading downstairs. Jack tells Jackie to stay behind him, while they head down their loud creaky stairs. Jack sees something, so he freaks out and tells Jackie to run back to their room. They, run back to their room and lay back into their beds. They then hear their front door close with a loud bang. That loud bang turned out to be the wind, shutting the door. Jack tells, Jackie, that he saw a shadow. Jack, felt like the shadow was something he has seen before but it wasn't particularly new. Jackie got afraid because he was young at the time. Jack made sure that his brother was safe and okay. They both decided to read a story together, known as "The Horses of the Sun". Jack and Jackie, both enjoyed the story. They said it was delightful and it was brightening up their mood. Then, they heard another bang except it came from their bedroom door which Jack closed when he and Jackie walked into the room. They freaked out so much, that Jackie accidentally wet the bed. So, Jack decided to grow up and be a man. He walked to the door, whipped it open and found out that it was just your casual Easter Bunny. Jack laughed, and Jackie was relieved to know that it was not an intruder. Jack, hugged the bunny and closed their door. Jackie asked Jack, "Hey Jack, who do you think the Bunny was?". Jack said, "Oh! It's the Easter Bunny." and Jackie replied with "No way..". Jack didn't want to say anything, because he already knew the truth about the holiday spirits. He believed in them, but he knew that at Christmas it was his parents who bought him and Jackie gifts and how the Easter Bunny is one of their parents that dress up and act like one then place cool little chocolates around his house. Jackie asked Jack if he believed in the holiday spirits so Jack replied with "Actually, I do. The holidays are a big part of adult's and children's lives. This is why every year we have at least 1 of each holiday to pay respects to the holiday spirits." and then Jackie replies with "So, by you saying 'to pay respects to the holiday spirits.' you mean that Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are dead?" so Jack says "No, they are still alive. Their bodies are dead, but their energy and spirits are still strong and more alive than ever." and Jackie replies with "Oh okay, so they are dead. But their spirits and spiritual energy are still with everyone?" and Jack says to Jackie "Yes, that is correct Jackie." and they end the conversation right there. Jack tells Jackie that they should try to get asleep, so Jack turns off the lights and closes the closet door since Jackie gets frightened every time the closet door is opened during the middle of the night. Jack says goodnight to Jackie and around two minutes after all of the shenanigans, Jackie falls asleep. Jack is just thinking about how he may have spoiled the truth about the holiday spirits to his younger brother. Jack finally falls asleep, and they have a great night. When Jack and Jackie wake up in the morning, their parents surprise them with an early Easter breakfast. While they are eating, Jack thinks about how he may have spoiled the holiday spirits to Jackie when they were talking about them last night. So mid-breakfast, Jack asks Jackie if he still believes the holiday spirits. Jackie replies with "Yes, why?" and Jack says "Oh, okay. Nothing it's fine." and that's the end. The whole thing ended with an awesome Easter day. Even though they are in quarantine, they still figured out how to have a fun time with family. Face timed their cousins throughout the day talking about random things and how their Easter went great.
