Can't connect to minecraft server from Ipad "Unable to connect to world"

jviddy

Question

I've been trying to create a private minecraft server for my son and his friends to play on for a while.

I've tried building my own on a raspberry pi and a hosted server. I've tried one click install systems, and i always get the issue @Unable to connect to world"

Finally gave up and decided to create a minehut server but unfortunately get the same "Unable to connect to world' error.

Trying to connect to the server from an iPad if that makes a difference.

Any help gratefully received, especially as the kids are all on lock down and desparate to play together.

Minehut doesn't support Bedrock Edition in general, Pocket Edition (Ipad etc), Xbox and other Gaming Consoles all use Bedrock Edition. Although minehut did at some point advertise Bedrock Edition server hosting, they do no longer offer that. You can play over the internet using Microsoft account as stated above, you do not have to be on the same Wifi to use this.
