Granting Permissions

Hi!

I just started my own server to use with friends and I'm kinda confused. As you can guess, I'm new to this type of thing, so I don't understand much. To make a long story short, how do I get the server to recognize me as the owner? I would also like to give players permissions. Anything will help! Thank you!

Okay lemme reword some of that: how do I make people server administrators?

You can get the plugin LuckPerms which allows you to create groups and give out permission.

Also, you need Essentials

Also /op makes you able to do all the commands your server offers,

You have to do it from the console. Also please do not necropost (posting on a thread that has been inactive for over a month)
