i am watching the "how to setuo ranks" video on yt from minehut. but i dont seem to get that prefix infront of my name.

how do i add myself? and others?

 

and how do i know what permission im giving them with this?

To add yourself and other players to a group, run the command /lp user (player) parent set (group). In terms of your permission question, if you search for a list of permissions for a certain plugin online, you should be able to find the node(s) you are looking for.
