Im going to start development on a new RPG server. First things first, id like to have staff go through Google Forum. development should take time, i want to create a nice environment where players can have fun, with an enjoyable experience. I'm hoping for staff with experience in mainly an rpg type environment, a discord account, and staff who are capable of handling themselves in tough spots. i also need staff such as, Developers (Focusing on Scripts/Ideas), Artists (Focusing on Resource Packs), Builders (Focusing on the Map that players play on. Builders Will Also need a portfolio, if anything in a portfolio is found as stolen, you will NOT be allowed to apply for any staff rank), And finnaly, Moderation. The moderation team will be handling player chats, bans, and more. If I see fit, moderation staff members will go through a list of other ranks such as the Administrator roll, and is the ONLY way to get there. I will be solely managing the server's staff applications, and console. I cannot give out console because many players are vile, trying their hardest to ruin other peoples hard work. Trying this will not work because i have MANY counter measures to this. Finally I will be interviewing anyone with their forums accepted.

Hello all, On my server, I am hoping to create a MMORPG much like Hypixel Skyblock. Many, many people play Hypixel, and I think it would be cool if I can bring a player base like that to Minehut. Now to my issues... 1: I am unsure as if to add a space in the universe that the players can build on, like the private island in Hypixel Skyblock. Usually, in an RPG you explore and do quests, but do not have a space to build your heart out. I want to know if I should add a space where each player can build, or keep it to just the main RPG universe. 2: I want to make the MMO fun and rewarding, but I also do not want it to take 8 hours to level up a skill. At first I thought of making the needed exp to level up low, but then people with time can speed through the levels. Then, I thought about purchasable exp boosts, but then the game is Pay To Win, which I hate. My final idea is to make NPCs that sell the exp boosts for a LOT of in game currency (gold), so people with time can work on the skill while people who don't have as much time can just buy an exp boost. (Note: for all of these ideas, the exp needed to level up is still less than Hypixel) 3: I literally don't know how to end the game. What will the final objective be? My plan is to make it virtually impossible to reach for an engaging gameplay that people will play for years, but still make it possible with the best stuff and many others at the best level. I was thinking a boss fight, but I am not sure how to end the game. Any ideas? 4: Most RPGs make you select a class to play. I do not want Heroes to do this, as it doesn't allow freedom as the meta weapons and armor change. Hypixel added dungeons into their MMO, adding class-based skills as well as the normal progression. Would you like something like that, (maybe a wizard academy where you can choose your element and go to the battle caves, completely separate from the rest of the Heroes universe) or just keep it to no classes? 5: I generally will be running out of ideas, as I am attempting this solo and do not have unlimited creativity. Some modded survival server really need some epic custom enchant they want in the server, but some of the custom enchantments that currently available in the plugin list aren't that useful. So I found this premium plugin and its on summer sale so it would be cheaper for minehut to afford it or somehow get it. And I believe many people would like this plugin as its very nice and perfect for rpg server. It has over 200 Custom Enchants! I really don't know if this is possible within the boundaries of Skript, but I really hope to find a way to do it. I'm making an RPG, and rather than having fixed, set levels on each armorpiece, weapon, and player, I'm aiming to make the player have a "power level". The system is intended to function like the power level system in the game Destiny. For background, the player has a power level from ~100 to 1000. The way the level is determined isn't by normal xp progression, but rather a calculation of the average level of his equipment. For example, each piece of armor and weapon you collect will have a random power level. Equipment would drop either by rare mob drops, or loot boxes, which also have their own visible power level for the weapon it holds. The range of the RNG would depend on what zone you're in. For instance, if you're in a beginner zone, you'd get armor in the 100-200's. The way it ties into player level is that if you were to have equipment that average to power level 153, that would be your power level. This gives incentive to find more weapons rather than sticking to one and plowing through the game. This is because the power level also determines the equipment's stats. What I'm trying to do is basically: - Have an RNG for power level with varying ranges. - Have a loot box with a power level which, when opened, gives a weapon with that same power level. - Have the power level show as a line of lore on the equipment. - Have a calculator system so that your level is determined by the average level of your equipment. - Have player power level show as a chat prefix. - Have the equipment power level variable tie into weapon damage / armor points. I have the first one slightly figured out, but it's mostly spaghetti code. I know it's a lot to ask but if anyone is willing to give some help, it would be greatly appreciated!

The RPGItems plugin needs to be updated, or one of it's required counterparts. It's already on minehut, but the plugin does not work. I am not sure which plugin is malfunctioning, but I am assuming that it's because your version of RPGItems is out of date. Please and thank you.
