    Find a project or something you want to make so you have some sort of goal set for yourself on what you want to do, start small but eventually you'll be able to make almost anything 🙂

    What did you do for spring break?

    I haven't made a forums post in a long time, so I thought I'd ask what everyone did for spring break. Hopefully you stayed safe 😠

    I personally didn't do a whole lot, saw some friends outside and whatnot but mostly worked on school work and played some games. Overall could have been better but the break from school was nice!

    What experience do you have as a moderator? I am currently a moderator on Minehut, which I spent a decent amount of time doing but that also means I am on Minehut and available most of the time. I work on a server called Multiples with aVinixs doing development and generally running it but mostly focusing on development.

    Why do you want to be a moderator on Composter? After seeing the progress and ideas Sh0ot that shoot has I'd love to be apart of it and help wherever I can. I am also interested in getting experience in the gens server category as most of my experience has been in PvP (despite me not even liking pvp that much). I could have some input and help with the arena and other areas. I'm also just interested in learning.

    What sets you apart from other applications? Why should we choose you? My current experience and skills, I have an understanding of how to make servers and the process behind it. I can also deal with multiple questions/issues at once by prioritizing. I am working on organizing my work and always trying to improve my skills in any area I am in.

    Have you every hacked before? (will not affect your chance) When I was like 10 or 11, yes

    Have you been banned on any servers? If so, for what reason? I have not been banned on any servers that I can remember.

    Anything else we should know? (personality, hobbies, etc) Not a whole lot here, I spend a lot of time online playing games, or programming. 

     

    Situational Questions

    What would you do if you thought somebody was using criticals while in pvp, but couldn't tell for sure? If another staff is on with more experience I may ask them, or I might just have to watch them for long enough to see if they use any other hacks or cheats.

    What would you do if you saw somebody flying or using speed hacks? I would make sure I have a video of the user using speed hacks or flying, and then 

    What would you do if someone was botting the server? As a mod there isn't a whole lot I can do, if they're spamming the chat then mute the chat and start to ban them. If IP-banning is available then I would ip-ban them hoping to atleast take out 2 bots at a time.

    What would you do if someone starts spamming personal information in chat? I would make sure to clear chat, and punish the user according to any guidelines for punishment times.

    What would you do if someone says something racist or homophobic in chat? Depending on punishment guidelines and rules I would mute them for the correct time and clear chat.

    What would you do if somebody was threatening to hack the server? Most of the time, I would ignore it as the chances of it being real are very low. Although if I thought it was serious enough I would not handle it on my own and make sure to tell someone else so we can come up with a solution and make sure we prevent any hacks or griefing.

    How would you handle a situation where you are the only staff online and there's someone asking a question, someone else spamming chat, and matrix (anticheat) is going off? If I know I would prioritize the problem that has the most users affected. If lots of people are in the warzone and are complaining about the hackers, but not as many questions of spam are happening then I would deal with spam. Most of the time I would prioritize chat spam, as it would deter new players when they join and see a wall of text with whatever is being spammed.

    If you're op you can try and download the world with /dl world <world>, if not you could use a world downloader mod but otherwise there isn't anything that you can do other than ask them for the world.
