I haven’t said anything on this issue for a while but I haven’t been able to fix it. I downloaded the world and ran it in single player and it worked. So I am not sure if this means that the server cannot handle my world. If so that would explain the “Cant keep up is the server overloaded running 2040ms or 40 ticks behind”

I think you might be able to fix this with a mod called starlight https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/starlight

Thanks for the reply, I know you said you don’t really understand it but do you have any idea how I could increase the value of MaxShiftBy and if you know how much to increase it by/what to increase it to. Also, do you know why my server says Can't keep up! Is the server overloaded? Running 2040ms or 40 ticks behind in console when I start it?

I am having the same problem but only when I join not when other people join, I think the chunk my player is in is a corrupted chunk. If you have any backups try using those

I am hosting a free minehut server and I recently updated it to 1.18. Everyone else on my server is able to join fine but for some reason when I try to join it looks like I'm in the void and after about 5-10 seconds the server crashes and anyone who is on is kicked. I believe it may be due to a corrupted chunk but I am not sure how the chunk could have become corrupted. Any help would be great. When you say it can’t be added to minehut yet do you mean minehut are planning on adding mod support in the future or it can’t be added until a plug-in version is released?

0 tick farms are really useful and I would like to enable them on my server. There is currently no plugin on minehut to re-add them but I have found one here. Plugin link: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/un-patch-zero-tick-farms
