Beacon DOES shine up, but haste isn't working. Other effects do work from what I see.

Thing is, the beacon doesn't work. I have EVERYTHING done correctly, but the effect doesn't apply. It does not increase the mining speed.

Yes I know, I have a max tiered beacon for haste 2 but it doesn't do anything but sit there with the cool interface thing. Mining speed isn't increased basically but shows haste 2 effect

I have the same problem. Haste 2 doesnt work. I get normal effects like speed and jump and strength but haste? no.
