[Trying to update server]

I have recently updated my server to 1.20.1 due to minecraft informing me that my client was incompatible and that I should use 1.7.2-1.20.1. As stated previously I have updated my Minehut server from Paper 1.19 to Paper 1.20.1 and yet minecraft is still informing me that my client is incompatible in spite of the fact that I have updated the server. Is this some kind of issue with Paper or is there something more I am not understanding here? 

[Problem related to captcha]

Everytime I try to enter my server, after the captcha it gives me a screen that says "you have been disconnected. Cause: Failed to validate login state. Please try again." Does anyone know what is causing this issue or how to solve it? Thank you.
