Helper applications are now open!
With the holiday season and new year approaching, Minehut is continuing to grow at a rapid rate and we need to grow the staff team at an equal rate. We are in desperate need of new helpers and (eventual) moderators to join and help volunteer for Minehut! If you think this is a position you might be interested in, check out all the information we have laid out below to learn more. We currently do not have any plans to close applications anytime soon, so you do not need to rush if you feel you aren't ready just yet.

Before applying please make sure that:
- You are knowledgeable on all of the pages listed above and fully understand them.
- You are eligible to apply according to our established requirements.
- You are experienced with using Minehut and can sufficiently help out players.
- You have maintained a professional and mature yet friendly behavior.
- You understand how the staff process works as explained in the post above.

You can change the default world by changing the "level name" option over in the Settings tab near the top of the panel. If this is a bit confusing you, check out this video linked below to learn how to do it.

You can speed up that hour by force hibernating it in the "Danger Zone" tab near the top. That should force stop your server and will allow you to instantly start the server back up with the new plan you bought.

The issue with that is hosting servers can be a bit expensive and a majority of people who use Minehut do not pay us a dime. We’re not going to be able to do something like that since it would be too pricey.

New staff members and more
Let's all give a warm welcome to the 3 new staff members that will be joining the staff team! We haven't done a post like this in a while so in addition to these new staff members, I'm also going to be pointing out all the new promotions and updates we've done to the staff team over the course of the past few months. Minehut is continuing to grow at an unbelievable rate and we're making sure the staff team is going to be ready to handle the influx of players.
New Helpers
@SilentFlame Hi there, I'm SilentFlame and I'm 15 years old and I live in the UK! You may have seen me hanging around in the lobbies chatting and overall having a good time, however most of you may know me from my moderation of the server MasterEvnts. I joined Minehut back in 2017 but then left it for 2 years (biggest mistake ever) and I recently came back in June 2020 , I started my Minecraft journey in 2012 but used a friends account until I bought myself one in 2016. I am so excited to have received the opportunity to become a helper and I definitely looked forward to seeing you guys in my lobbies and in the discord! In my free time I like to play the guitar and I have been taking lessons for the past 8 years and I also like to do little bits of coding (though I'm not very good). I have a dog named Meg and she is 7 months old (you may have seen some pictures in discord.)
I am usually in a Voice Channel on the Discord or in #general or #support trying to help as many of you out as I possibly can! If you have any concerns or questions feel free to contact me via Discord (SilentFlame#0001) In-Game (SilentF1ame) or on the Forums (SilentFlame).

@tigero9 Hello! My name is Nathan. I'm 15 and live in the US. I've been playing Minehut since May 10, 2017. I've made several upon several friendships on Minehut, and I think now is the appropriate time to introduce myself to even more people! Many of you know me as Tiger or tigero9. I've made plenty of successful servers across Minehut some of you may remember years ago. Two major ones are SSM & High-SchoolRP. I am proud of those accomplishments and I'm a proud member of Minehut for almost 4 years. I like to spend extra time simulating nature in lots of environments like Weather and Outer Space on technology. I also am very experienced with navigating Windows operating systems and I enjoy messing around on them. If you'd like me to further introduce myself, feel free to message me on discord! @Vedlon Good day! You can call me Vedlon or Veddy, I’ve played Minehut for the longest time now. This will be my third “term” on the MH staff team and I’m glad to be joining back as a Helper. It’ll be nice to serve the community again. You can contact me on discord (Vedlon#4483) or the forums (Vedlon) I’ll also be in lobbies just hanging out so make sure to say what’s up! I enjoy spending my free time working on cars and playing the new zombies. Great to be back and can’t wait to meet all of you!

A few of these promotions was back when we added the new helper rank, where we merged our support members into this new position, and some of them are thanks to the dedication and time our staff members put into the server.

Upcoming Applications
We're just about ready to release Helper applications back up to the public! I've been talking to a bunch of people and I know that a ton of people are excited and are ready to apply and I can't wait until we're able to give more people a chance on the staff team. We really want to continue grow the staff team as the player base of Minehut grows and if you have any interest to helping out and volunteering for Minehut, I would 100% urge you to give it a shot and try it out once we open up applications. The Discord server has recently broken 50k members and just last weekend, we were hitting peaks of over 15k people online in-game. We could definitely use the help make sure to stay tuned to the #changelog channel in the discord server or in this category right here on the forums.

I think you're able to watch the promo video once a day until the promotion ends, so for now I think that's your best bet. You could probably save up a decent number of credits if you continue to vote and watch the video everyday.

Try starting your server and then putting in the command gamerule randomTickSpeed 3 a minute or 2 after you start it in the Server Commands box on the panel. It might take a few minutes after you put in the command and sometimes you might need to put it in a few times, but that should help solve your issue.

You can give yourself permissions by OPing yourself from the panel. There should be a box called "Server Commands" where you can type commands in. Simply type /op (your username) to give yourself permissions.

Please make sure you're using the IP bedrock.minehut.com and the port 19132. Once you join that IP, you can use /join (server name) in chat to join your server.

This is actually an extremely cool idea and script, good job on it! I haven't checked out the script too much but if it works well then I would definitely recommend for others to use it.

I'm not sure if we're going to be adding a command for that. At the moment it doesn't exist but we could always consider something like that in the future. For now, using a mod to do that would probably would out pretty well for you.

Minehut Changelog - Nov 2, 2020
As of recently, Minehut has continued to notice player growth and the number of people hanging out and talking in the lobbies has significantly increased. Because of this increase, however, it has encouraged some malicious users to take advantage of this and have led to situations where it has become quite difficult to help players and keep the lobby spam under control. The changes we’ve made today will be a first step to help address the recent noticeable issues.
/advertise command
Going forward, advertising will no longer be allowed in the public chat, this has been moved to a new command called /advertise. This command will behave similarly to the way you advertise in the lobby chat and it will continue to send the advertisement to all Minehut lobbies. The main reason for this change is to help distinguish advertisements from normal conversations and to add a specific cooldown when advertising servers. All advertisements will have an 80 character limit.
Rank Cooldowns
- Default: 8 minutes
- VIP: 7 minutes
- PRO: 5 minutes
- LEGEND: 3 minutes
- PATRON: 1 minute
When using the command, it’ll ask for the server name as well as the message you would like to send out as the advertisement. The advertisement will only allow you to advertise online servers and it will tell you if the server you are advertising is not currently online. If you are a donator, you also will get access to some other benefits when using the command.

- PATRON: Inherits all previous
With this initial rollout, we will be warning users who fail to use the advertisement command when advertising Minehut servers. After a few weeks/month grace period, we’ll stop warning and instantly mute users who do not advertise servers in the /advertise command.
Staff Rank Updates
Alongside the new /advertise command, we’re also updating the hierarchy of the staff team to have more of a focus on support and helping players. We’ve added a new rank in-game for people who specialize with this called [HELPER]. These are community members who are here to help you with any questions or issues that might arise while you enjoy your time on Minehut.
With the addition of this new rank, we will also be reopening applications for staff sometime in the near future. If you are interested in applying for a position like this and volunteering for Minehut, be sure to keep a lookout on the forums for when we announce them.

Could you check if your server is unsuspended now?

Hey there, sorry about the inconvenience! I looked a bit into your situation and it seems like we did unsuspend the server name you provided in the appeal, the main issue looks like that you changed the name before it was unsuspended and you didn’t notify us what you changed it to, which I presume is why it never went through.
What is the current server name?
