Make sure that Mob spawning is enabled in Server Properties and make sure that the server isn't on Peaceful difficulty

If your friend is using a cracked version then that is the problem. Minehut is a premium server so cracked players can't join.

Make sure that the file you are uploading is either a .zip if its a world or a .schem if its a schematic.
