so i joined my server (just me and one other person), and i keep seeing all the chat messages from the main minehut server. this is really annoying! help!

so i'm playing on a minehut server, and while trying to craft sticks, suddenly my right click starting performing very strangely. it registered clicks, but i couldn't interact with chests, crafting tables, furnaces, etc., and when i tried to open doors, only half of it would open. when i place blocks, it consumes them, places and then very quickly deletes them afterward, resulting in them being on the ground, collectable after a few seconds. i can still hit things perfectly fine. as well as that, the person i'm playing with has no issue like this whatsoever, and doesn't see any of what happens when i interact with the world (only seeing my arm moving.) help! i have tried leaving, rejoining, turning off and on my computer, resetting my wifi, and even having the server shut down and brought back up. nothing works. what can i do?
