Yes i am owner. What is "default role?"(is it creative,survival adventure etc?) Also what happens if i doep myself? Also isn't it /setworldspawn and /spawnpoint

ok so im trying to build a new genpvp server. i typed /spawnpoint @a and /setworldspawn on a specific block. (glowstone) But whenever someone joins the game for the first time, they spawn at the original worldspawn. i need to keep tping them to me or do the /setworldspawn again. is there something im doing wrong?

Im trying to make a minecraft 1.8 pvp server, and i install protocol support to allow all versions on the server. It doesnt work. i uninstalled all the plugins except for protocol support. still not working. i am running a free minehut server with no credit purchases, and the minecraft versioin is 1.17.1 spigot.
