eh, i'm doing ok. i wish i was being more productive honestly, i need to get more done with my life. i could be just chilling outside for 20 minutes and i'd be happy. but that's all on me lol

i suppose it will work if i just don't edit the messages, which sucks because i wanted custom messages but it's fine

i have discordSRV installed, the bot token is in the config as well as the channel id, but it isn't showing messages in my channel, and my bot isn't online. it isn't even showing up as a plugin on my server when i do /pl, and none of the commands work. it says it's installed in the console. i've removed and added the plugin, but to no avail. if anyone could help that would be awesome. (this isn't my first time using discordSRV.) edit: it was working before, but as soon as i restarted my server after changing some messages everything stopped working. it might have something to do with those messages and how they were changed, but i don't see why this would completely "remove" discordSRV from my server.

when i'm thinking about making OG server names, i think about what my server is going to be about and how it can relate to the name and/or make the server unique to others. when my ideas are lackluster, i look up 'unique words list' or something along the lines of that and just scroll through them, looking up the definitions of words i think roll off the tongue nicely or have similar themes to what i have in mind for my server. doing this gives me lots of new ideas for my server and the lore. sometimes i have to go through multiple sites to find the perfect word, but nonetheless it's satisfying when you get it. for example, an anarchy server could be called 'vagarious' instead of 'anarchy123'. (the google definition for vagarious is 'erratic and unpredictable in behavior or direction') another example, i like how the duping server 'cloner' separates itself from other duping servers by not using the word dupe in the name but a similar word like cloner, so people still know that, "hey, this is a duping server." i don't have any names up my sleeve for you, but i hope my advice has helped somehow?

https://skriptify.xyz/scripts has lots of skripted versions of plugins! they have most of essentials' commands and you can just copy the raw preview into a file in the /plugins/Skript/scripts folder. edit: if there aren't any commands you were looking for, try looking at the other stuff they have on there.

the plugin 'item editor' allows you to put basically infinite enchants on items (and it has even more customization options, including editable names and lores) with the command '/ie edit' with your wanted item in hand it'll open up a fairly simple editor that i think is pretty self explanatory. once you're done click on the item to return it to your inventory. if you somehow lose your item '/ie reopen' works most of the time.
