i think i fixed it using on click: repair tool of player this means to repair armour u have to take it out but its ok

once again thanks for the quick reply, i have done the skript and reloaded item but i get an error saying that on item damage is not understood. also i did some research and found that the event on item damage cannot be cancelled. i also tried set item damage to 100
