  1. If you're a staff member. If you're someone on the team who manages one of the most popular minecraft servers of all time, I believe that you should listen to what I have to say about minehut. Minehut's doing very well for itself right now, you're focusing on getting new players and delivering freemium content to its users which I believe is a good way to manage your server. SuperLeague gets all this hate because we loved Luuke so much and he sold out on his dream. It shouldn't get the amount of hate that it gets. The only reason why Minehut lags all the time is because there are so many servers online, so many players and so much activity. But I believe that the voices of the players shouldn't keep silent. People need a better way of communicating with staff who can make a change directly. I don't want the staff to hear a paraphrased version of our wants, but I want them to hear the full story. The things that we believe will make minehut a decent choice to host your server on again like it was. First, let's focus on the developing community of minehut (pseudo-developers in my opinion) The text editor needs a major revamp. It's just a text box with a couple buttons on it. Perhaps give it some syntax coloring. Everyone knows you should download an external text editor to get your work done, but its very important to us developers. I should know, I've been skripting for a while. It's pretty important. Make the file navigator faster. It sounds impossible because I'm sure you've done a lot of fine tuning to make it improved, but this is a huge problem. If I have to go to another page (say, the plugin installer page) I know I'll have to wait for all of the files to load in and whatnot as soon as I'm done with that. I keep on the file editing page about 90% of the time because it takes anywhere from 20 seconds to two minutes to get back. Even if it sounds impossible, you guys have managed to do this, I'm sure you can think of some way to fix it. If you want to make a good server, the last thing you would think to go to is Minehut. That's for servers you want to experiment on, servers you want to test your skripts on for a little bit. You don't make a server there and stick to it for a while. It's hard to dedicate. You want to change that, right? Now I'll discuss the EULA issue. About 90% of servers with a functioning buycraft store break the EULA in some way, shape or form. We want stricter moderation of these guidelines all across the network. You have a lot on your plate right now when it comes to managing the server, and I know that. It may not seem like a priority to you. But us as players did not come to minehut to be defeated by others because they have more money than us, isn't the point to not spend money at all to make a server? The people making p2w servers are downright abusing minehut to make a quick buck. I don't think that's the purpose of the platform. I'm not experienced with owning any major networks since they always seem to fail on Minehut at least, but I'm sure you can do a better job when it comes to the EULA violations. It's barely enforced by Mojang but do you think the people who don't pay money because they don't have any like that? No. They don't. Server starting problems Probably the most infuriating thing about my experience with minehut is how unreliable, slow and downright dysfunctional the panel is at times. Sometimes starting your server can put it in hibernation, some times the server wont go on from hibernation, sometimes the server can't stay on for 10 seconds before hibernation. It's a major company, hell they got sponsored by a movie studio. It makes your server look much lower quality than it actually is. Little things like this are big problems. I want a server, not a big button that says my server is loading. A voting system. I know this has been a very heavily suggested idea, and I'm open to edits and suggestions, but here's my stance: A server can get liked or disliked by users who fall within the purview of the following conditions for voting: - Has played the server for 5 minutes or more without being kicked or banned - Has played on minehut for three days - Has not voted for that server specifically before - Has not been continually giving negative/positive reviews to servers There are some servers which break rules. People can dislike these servers and if the server gets an overwhelming amount of likes or dislikes, the staff will take notice. It can also democratize the selection of featured servers (I'm not sure if you're still doing that) Make changes as necessary of course. Just reject the idea overall (again) if you feel that my ideas are too far-fetched from what would work best for the community. Those are all the things that I believe most of the community would prefer to be changed from how they are now. I'll get into some suggestions now: - A method of searching/sorting in the player menu (Sort alphabetically/Most liked/Most disliked/Most joins) + (Click a sign and you can search for a server name and it will limit the servers in the menu to any matches, as well as checking the MOTD) - Tags for your server, such as "KitPvP" or "Prison", etc. They display under the MOTD. Thank you for reading.
  2. I saw TacticalModz post a console error about ProtocolSupport or something and I'd like to know how to do that. Thanks for any help you can provide
