So I went to /worlds and clicked on our worlds name and it said "that world does not exist." So is the world lost forever or can you still find it?

And if the world has been renamed, is there anything you can do about it?

Hello! So I logged onto my friends and my minecraft server only to find out that everything had disappeared. We had a fresh world in front of us and had lost all of our progress. Anyone know how to fix this?
