Oops, so it ended with me forgetting to reset the world probably due to blocks having to be deleted from switching from 1.17.1 to 1.12.2. it probably started crashing from attempting to remove blocks from the mod.

Fixed Problem Hello, I've been attempting to start up my modded server for the past server, It ran smoothly yesterday (apart from lag) and then I tried to remove a mod to reduce the lag but then the server refused to start (I didn't remove spongeforge) and it just kept saying starting and then offline. I attempted to restore a backup I made right before removing the mod but it still refused to start. Then i attempted to put it back to spigot 1.17.1 and it started and went online so i put it back onto spongeforge 1.12.2 and it still didnt work even though only the mods that Minehut gives automaticaly (spongeforge and worldedit). Then I attempted to repair files and it still wouldn't start. Btw the server is private for me to use with friends. Hello, I'm extremely sorry for wasting your time because before it just randomly kept crashing but now it just loaded completely fine and I only loaded the server up quickly yesterday to get the log before the server fully crashed and never fully checked if it was online but now it's fixed. I still have no idea what kept it from crashing but now it's running fine on 1.17. I just have to assume that minehut was down even though nothing was mentioned about it being down. Again, Extremely sorry for wasting your time

Answered Hello, My server started to not start. It says starting and then offline and it won't go online. This started to happen right after I changed it from paper 1.16.5 to spigot 1.17. I have a backup like Minehut recommended. I attempted to load the backup but it just continued to not start and I have no idea why. Thanks.

hello this happened to me but i think it was a temporary glitch but for me i accidently deleted everything from my banned players file while attempting to unban (at this time i didn't know about the pardon command since i thought it would be unban) but the way i found out is i went to "file manager" "Logs" and then "Latest.log" and then you should be able to find out what is causing the crashing (i just pasted in the file from my second server)

nvm i found out one of the files was broken so it's fixed now

Answered Question I'm just a bit confused because I know about the thing that makes severs offline after 15 seconds which I've been experiencing for about 2 days but I'm confused because my servers don't want to turn on but my friend has no problem with turning his on. (we both make private servers) Thanks.

this most likely is because of the Minehut thing that is happening where servers cannot start up and has been happening for the past 1-2ish days and I have no idea about the world (I'm still quite newish to Minehut)

I know this is completely off the world loading but you may be able to fix the grief using backups which are automatically done each hour by going into Backups and then Restore Server

Hi, this may be because the servers have been glitching out and it has been announced on discord. this is what has been announced on discord We had an issue attempting to roll out a brand new storage cluster to increase the number of servers we can handle starting and stopping at the same time. Unfortunately, we had to revert the change for now. We'll roll it out at a later date once we're able to do more testing. Be patient and check the Minehut discord for updates

Don't take this for granted since I'm not a minehut expert but, you probably could go to backups and then restore the server but this may have a bit of progress cut out of it because a backup automatically is only set once an hour. also the fallback server may also be cause of the thing happening now where servers keep going offline like 15 seconds after they are starting.
