They just pay people to advertise. I have the same issue. I am hoping to build a community for my server, but my 1 free advertiser (PRO) and myself (VIP) peaked the server at 8 people yesterday, including me, my alt, and my advertiser.
I got 10 by myself and 12 once using my legend account and having two of my server members do ads on their default accounts.

I can relate to the struggle of promoting a server. I have a rank but either my ads are bad or my luck is bad. Or I don’t have enough accounts because most of the top servers must have like 20 patron accounts lol.

I would generally not recommend quitting a community unless the community itself is negatively impacting you since communities form part of a crucial social support structure. However, if Minehut is no longer bringing joy to your life, you may wish to take a break. Just make sure not to delete your account/servers/other stuff so you can return if you do desire. If you do quit, try to find what makes you happy. I wish you the best of luck defeating depression and regaining happiness in your life whether that requires quitting Minehut or not.

Use an integer variable storing the number of tenths of seconds (or whatever your smallest division of time is) and increment that variable by 1 every tenth of a second (or whatever your smallest division of time is). Make sure to only increment while the race is going.

I would also like to add to this topic that Minehut transformed from a small, fun place to hang out with friends, meet cool people, and experience cool and often unique creations to a large, heavily-censored, and corporate dungeon where server owners are primarily concerned with profits because where money can be made, it will be made at the expense of quality, originality, and freedom. I never intended to make money here and never did. I bought a rank for the lobby fly ability but also for the advertising benefits because I wanted to share my creations with more people more effectively.
I used to enjoy hanging out in the lobby but a combination of ludicrous chat censorship, ad spam, and botters in general have made the pursuit of joy in the Minehut lobby nearly impossible.
TL:DR
I miss the old Minehut. It used to be really fun, now it’s more fun than doing nothing but doesn’t give me the same joy it used to.
