I am going to be as flat out as possible here. The new update will most likely cause people to leave the hosting program and attempt to find a more lenient rules about free servers. Of course Minehut still offers the community aspect which is hard to find anywhere else. But for people who just want a simple survival server with a lot of plugins to have fun and explore with, Minehut might not be where they go. For example, currently Aternos does not limit the amount of plugins you can use. Again it doesn't have the community aspect but that doesn't matter to everyone. This new update won't destroy Minehut but it will definitely impact the amount of people that will be on daily. I feel like I understand if Minehut doesn't decide to revert back to the old way of plugins, but I would just like to say that this is kinda risky.
