It's just a feature. If you want it to stay open 24/7 then you need to pay. It closes after 5 minutes of no one.

I'm pretty sure it's not the command that's causing you to do this, depending on what computer you have you can easily use the function button on your keyboard, fn+f2.. ect, and I'm pretty sure that'll fix it, you must've just tapped something on your keyboard.
