Seems like a good application, and a decent applicant too. Enough detail on pretty much every question too.
I did notice that your "Previous IGN" section wasn't completely filled out with your full list of previous usernames though.

I wish you the best of luck, and hope to see you get through.

Hi! Thank you for the praise! I will add a list of complete usernames I just changed my name a lot so it's pretty long! Thanks for the feedback!!

    General Details:

Why did you decide to apply for staff on PlexPvP?

Well, to start off I just generally like the community, while I only joined a few days ago I can see how amazing this community is. What made me decide to apply was I want to help catch rule breakers and help make Plex a safer place. I really want to be a part of the staff team as I really enjoy helping others in any way that I can. I also see many people that do wrong things to Plex, such as a while back when some individual or group of people made bots spam peoples private messages to make it seem like Plex was doing this when Plex was doing nothing of the sort. Another instance of someone doing something wrong to Plex would be yesterday when people were advertising free OP. I know how stressful and upsetting these things can be for both players and staff and I would like to help solve these kinds of situations.

Why should we accept you over other applicants?

I think I should be accepted over other applicants because I can bring things to the staff team that others may not be able to. I can help the server by helping catch rule breakers as well as make it a fun, kind, and overall good environment for everyone, whether they be 20 or 11. I also have experience working with younger kids as I used to have a volunteer job where I would teach them self defense, so I know how to be assertive, yet kind. Additionally I have been playing Minecraft for many years and I know a lot about this game, I have been playing it ever since I was a young kid and It really does hold a special place in my heart.  I will also bring friendship to the staff team, a lot of people just view staffing as a job, and the people they do it with as co-workers, I view the people I work with as friends and I am super supportive even if I just met them! I also know how to control my anger, yes this was something I struggled with in the past, but I'd like to say that with some practice and time I have gained the ability to remain calm under pressure and even if a player is getting on my nerves I will not let it show and will always respect the player.

What are your strengths and weaknesses?

    My strengths are:

    - I am good at moderation (I'd like to think).

    - I try my best to make good impressions and be friendly to everyone.

    - I am good when it comes down to dealing with children or child like behavior.

    - I manage to maintain a mature, yet friendly state.

    - I listen to higher-ups and do what I am told.

    - I am pretty patient.

    - I am good at helping players and other staff.

    My weaknesses are:

    - Sometimes I am a bit indecisive, but usually I record and do what the staffing guidelines say or what I have learned to do based on previous staffing experience.

    -  While I am very patient with people, sometimes I may be a little less patient. It's usually when I'm tired and if I feel as if I might snap at a player I will simply leave and come back when I calm down and have a little bit more patience.

What moderation experience do you have? Explain what you learned from these experiences:

I have been a staff on many servers, through my journey of staffing on Minehut servers I have learned how to be a good staff, meaning when it's proper to punish someone, determine reasonable amount of punishment time based on the offense and I also learned how to make friends and listen to the other staff and the community. As I mentioned I have staffed for a variety of Minehut servers, some of which were similar to Plex but sadly no longer exist, through my many experiences I have also learned how to be mature and professional. Another thing I have learned is to deal with a variety of rule breakers, whether it be spammers, botters, hackers, or other, I usually know how to deal with it. I have also learned that if I am unsure of something I should not take the matter into my own hands unless absolutely necessary and confront a more experienced or higher-up staff member about the situation.

Have you ever been punished on Plex or any other Minecraft servers? If so, why were you punished and how did you learn from it?

To my knowledge I have never been punished on Plex, I admittedly used to hack on other servers because I thought I was funny, But I soon realized after owning a server of my own that it only causes stress and wastes staffs time, I took a vow to myself that I wouldn't hack on any server again and would do what I can to stop hackers. I am not proud of my past, but I am striving to change it

What are some hobbies, activities or achievements you have outside of Minecraft?

I really enjoy coding! I code Java, JavaScript, some Kotlin and Python!

    Situational Questions:

If the server is being botted, what would you do?

First I would immediately contact an online admin/sr.mod or the owner via discord, once they get on, I will contact a Minehut staff and start banning the bots, after which the person who initiated the bot attack would be banned. If necessary , I would mute chat or have another staff mute chat and then try to effectively explain that the bots are not us and we are working with a Minehut staff member to get the situation resolved.

If you get into an argument with a player, how would you try to resolve the situation? Would you come to terms with their side of the argument or would you just stop arguing?

I would apologize to the player and even if I don't think they are right I will come to terms with their side and then say I will stop arguing. Doing so will mean the argument ends and the player is satisfied, my job as a staff would be to make sure that players are happy to the best of my ability, among other things of course.

Tell us about a mistake you made in the past. What did you learn from this mistake and how did you deal with it?

In the past I was very immature, I would often argue with the other staff and players for the first server I staffed for, I learned that in doing so all I did was harm my own reputation as well as annoy everyone, since no one really enjoyed my presence I was demoted, looking back on the way I acted I realized how much I have matured, and how much that demotion was deserved. I have learned to deal with players and other staff if they are annoying me in a mature, yet effective manner, I have also become decent at defusing situations, whether the participants be staff or players.

If a staff member’s account was hacked, what would you do?

first I would contact their higher-up and the owner and explain to them that the staff account was hacked, if I had permission, I would temporarily ban the account until they regain access and can prove it is them, or if I get an order from an admin or the owner to unban the account. Doing this would ensure that the server is safe until we can figure out the situation properly.

You see a player claiming he was false banned on another server. He begins to talk about botting Plex. How do you react?

I would start recording the conversation and send it to the owner, then if I had proper permission from the owner I would ban the user and immediately report them to a Minehut staff with  sufficient evidence and attempt to contact the owner of the server the user was "falsely banned" on. I would also discuss a possible IP ban of the user with the owner to prevent the bots from joining the server until the Minehut staff ban the user.

There is a player constantly saying bad things about the staff team, but they aren't technically breaking any rules? What do you do?

Since they are not breaking any rules I would politely ask them to stop. This does not mean that I would not help them in the future or disrespect them back, I would simply say "Hey, we try our best, please don't trash talk us.." and leave it at that.

A player, who claims to be friends with staff, is messaging you saying he will tell his friends that you are abusing your permissions if you punish them. What do you do in this situation?

First I would screenshot it and send it to their friend. This will let them know that I did not abuse my powers and that the player accusing me is incorrect, I would then consult a higher-up about what to do next. This ensures I do not punish or punish incorrectly.

A player messages you with your personal information. He threatens to leak it if you don't un-punish them. How would you react in this situation?

I would first screenshot it and send it to a higher-up staff member, immediately after doing so I would contact a Minehut staff with the screenshot. Hopefully they will be banned and none of my personal information is released, If they somehow do release my personal information it is considered a dox and I can get law enforcement involved if necessary.

Anything else you would like to tell us?

I just want to thank you for reading my application! Have a great day/night!

Thank you for applying. You will receive a response within 3 days. Please be patient.
