    Minehut Exposed

    I agree with a lot of the things you said in the document, but if we are already judging based on the past, we all know minehut is far from a perfect or good host, but it isn't going to change either. Although minehut is starting to take action now that they are in a bad financial situation, the new features are going to be more money making machines, while they continue to ignore basic needs. The rush 1.16 update is a perfect example of how minehut either doesn't care about the users or is just really bad at decision making (Something we already know based on how they broke their own economy for some time), and it's not the first time minehut updates the second it's possible while disregarding everything else, this happens almost every time there is a major update. Now the staff team is trying to connect with the community by doing Q&A and such, that helps to some extent but that doesn't solve the main problem. Minehut or rather super league isn't the only company with the goal to earn money, but usually the successful ones don't ignore their customers or disregard basic functionality of their product for more money. Now they are working on unneeded features solely for money instead of making their product better, so people will have a better reason to pay for it. I don't think it's coincidental that most of the successful servers on minehut either leave or die, minehut isn't a platform for successful servers, it's a go fund me at best. Now that my reputation is officially ruined, you know why when I get banned for toxicity (lol)

We are recruiting for many different positions: Experienced Skript Developers - Making all the the features below take time, and in order to release as soon as possible we need more Skript developers. Builders - As an MMORPG, Westeria requires a lot of builds. Story development team - We need people to think of quests, items, mobs and more. Artists (texture packs artists and experts in particular) - We are trying to do something that is rarely seen in Minehut - an unique experience with a custom texture pack.   5. Cool script, you should add an option to prevent messages that include certain words from being sent (for example swear words). You can provide a default list and an option to edit it (/chc word add/remove/list)

  8. If you are already using skript to edit slots why not create the menus with skript? CYOM has many bugs, limited features and looks unprofessional in my opinion. If you are interested in using skript menus then i advise you to use the vanilla menus with the on inventory click event.

  11. Sk-NbeeT has been replaced with SkBee but minehut didn't change it yet, so the addon doesn't function and all scripts that used it now don't work properly. Please add SkBee and delete Sk-NbeeT.   12. Not that i know of, you could calculate the damage the target is supposed to get and if its higher then its a critical hit, but that would be pretty hard and complicated to code

    Nice script, I can see a lot of effort went into it. Although making it with the default skript menus and the on inventory click event would take less lines, work more efficiently and prevent some problems like /skript reload all breaking the menus
  15. A project by Play2Live Network Note: Farm2Live is already released, but I’m going to be talking about the next season of Farm2Live. Farm2Live is a farming server that takes farming to a completely different place, and is unlike any other farming server, guaranteed. The server is a bit complicated but I’m going to explain it to the best of my ability: The server has 2 main paths: 1. Farming normal plants to unlock recipes and upgrade your farming chests. 2. Extract the essence of plants to craft custom plants like coal plant, iron plant, etc. You can sell the loot you get from plants, farming chests and essence extractors for money to upgrade your farm, buy things in the shop or prestige to unlock new features. Of course, the server has many other features, but this is the core. Main Features: Farming Chests - A bit similar to Hypixel minions, they farm for you. A carrot farming chest gives you 1 carrot every 15 seconds by default, and has 64 storage, getting plants from farming chests gives the same amount of experience as farming the plants yourself (unless you have experience upgrades in the farming chest). You can upgrade the chest to produce plants faster and unlock more storage (For example to upgrade a carrot chest to level 2 you need 32 carrots and you need to be level 2 in carrot farming), or craft special farming chest upgrades to increase the efficiency, experience gain or even automatically sell the plants. Farming chests work when you are offline, and no, they don’t cause lag. Screenshots - https://imgur.com/a/Mi5aCuf Farming and Levels - In Farm2Live you farm by right clicking the plant, but you can also farm normal plants in the vanilla way (you must break melons and pumpkins). You level up your farming levels by simply farming. Farming any plant to level up your general farming level (custom plants give the most xp), and farm vanilla plants to upgrade specific plant farming levels, for example carrot farming. You unlock recipes for farming chest upgrades, custom items and more by leveling up. Screenshots - https://imgur.com/a/Y2eGwcN Essence Extractors and Custom Plants - Essence Extractors generate items like farming chests, but they are a bit more complicated. By placing a normal plant in an Extractor, you get essence related to the plant (for example wheat gives coal essence), with it you can craft custom plants with recipes you unlock while leveling up. By placing a custom plant in an extractor, you get the plant default loot (coal plant gives coal). You can also farm custom plant the by planting them and right clicking them with a hoe when they are fully grown. Custom Plants have rarities like common, rare, etc. To harvest a custom plant your level needs to be high enough and your hoe needs to be of the same rarity or higher. Hoes and Custom Enchants - In Farm2Live all hoes are custom. That means you can level up any hoe by farming, and hoes have rarity. Common hoes let you farm common plants (you can do so by hand as well), rare hoe let you farm common and rare plants, etc. You can enchant your hoe with custom farming enchants that cost credits (you can get them in various ways). Custom Enchants require your hoe to be strong enough to handle them, in simple words they have a hoe level requirement. There are a lot more features like daily quests, playtime rewards, level rewards, mystery boxes, settings, special tutorial system, scrambles, sell wands, kits, leaderboards, custom suffixes system and more!   16. The script is nice and players can play around with it, but as you said the script is pretty inefficient and there also isn't any crate animation so i wouldn't recommend to use it instead of a crate plugin . But nice script overall and keep up the good work!
  17. Just a script i made for a server, I decided to post it here mainly so new Skript developers can use it as reference and learn. I removed the rewards (a gui) because they were specific to that server, i can send them if people are interested This script is 100% working but it doesn't really affect the gameplay, the only thing mining levels do is show in a leaderboard so its just for fun if you want to add it to your server. Information: Commands: /skills (the skills menu) /leaderboard mining (mining leaderboard) /skillreset (resets all of the player related skills variables, requires permission) Usage: - You can only gain mining exp when mining ores and without silk touch, this is to prevent getting xp by breaking rare blocks, replacing them and breaking them again Note: To new Skript developers this may look advanced, to experienced Skript developers this may look easy to make. This is something i made for a random server, I'm just posting this to help the community and not to showcase my skills or anything idiotic like that Skills Public.sk

  19. Now that there aren't any classes (according to feedback), in order to get the items you need to start the dungeon run there are kits. Kits arent that powerful and they are only useful at the beginning floors, but they are necessary if you need a specific item like a bow in order to use your full power (stats like: power, reload speed and accuracy need a bow in order to work). A project by the Play2Live network Credits to the game “The Enchanted Cave” for inspiration Because I have a lot of information to give, this post is going to be divided into 2 parts, the first one is a “short” introduction, 2 screenshots and some gameplay. The second part will mention each major feature and what it does, so prepare for a little reading. Lets get right into it Part 1 Defy is an infinite dungeon (no, its not a copy of anything, it’s a genre) with attributes, active and passive abilities, custom weapons, armor, mobs, artifacts, skills and much more. Its pretty hard to explain without going into much detailed so just watch the gameplay, it should show you enough A little explanation about the name and server concept. The server concept is to run the dungeon and constantly improve yourself and reach higher floors, and each run is different from the last (you get different enemies, shop items, loot and more) so you will probably never do 2 runs that are the exact same. The dungeon gets harder the more floors you pass, the difficulty rises slightly every floor, every 5 floors the difficulty rises drastically. You improve all the time, both in the dungeon run itself or in general. You can improve in general by improving your attributes, unlocking new abilities, improving your skills, unlocking and upgrading kits and finding artifacts. Inside the dungeon you can improve by doing all the things i just mentioned and also by getting weapons, armor and other items. The name Defy means defy yourself (improve yourself and go beyond your limits) and defy the heavens (achieve what others believe is impossible), honestly this name will fit into any RPG like server and was originally meant for a MMORPG server I wanted to make, but I realized it will take years to get all the builds. So its not a coincident that the current Defy is based only on 1 room There is also a hidden story in the server for players to discover Note – This project is in early development and the gameplay doesn’t present the end product, and we may change anything until beta release, but its good enough to showcase the project. Screenshorts - https://imgur.com/a/3T6vKSl Gameplay - Part 2 If you are reading this it means you want to know more details about Defy and it’s features, so enjoy Floors – Every floor the difficulty rises slightly because the mobs gain a level, every 5 floors the difficulty rises drastically because a new mob is added. Every 10 floors (including floor 0) is a shop floor Levels – You levelup by killing mobs. Your personal level unlocks you new attributes and 5 ability points that you can spend on attributes. Attributes – There are 9 attributes (Example – Strength, Power and Enchanting) and each attribute has it’s own passive and active abilities. You upgrade those attributes with ability points you get each time you levelup (you get 3 each level). The attributes are divided into 3 groups that you unlock each at a different level (You start with the first one and unlock the rest at later levels). You can create your own meta by upgrading the attributes you want and unlocking the abilities and passives you need, and by combining those with kits (more about those later in this post) you can create your own meta. Abilities – Abilities can be active or passive. You can select an active ability using /abilities and clicking on it, meaning you can only use 1 active ability at a time. Active abilities have a cooldown between uses. Passive abilities work without doing anything so there isn’t a limit to how many can work at a time. Here are some examples: Active ability: Execute - Your next attack will kill enemies will low health. Passive ability: Bersek - The lower your health the higher your dmg Kits - The loot you get inside the dungeon is randomized, and if you upgrade stats related to a bow and you don't get one inside the dungeon, you are dead, right? Nope, thats why kits exist, to save your day. Kits give you items when you start a dungeon run, so you hardcore archers wont be stuck without a bow. Some of you may think that this destroys the idea of items being randomized, but no. Although kits can be upgraded, the items you get from them are not going to be of much help after the beginner floors (the first 10 floors), so if your luck is bad even kits can't save you (Smart players will upgrade their stats so even if they have bad luck they can survive). Skills – This is something that you cant see in the gameplay video, because I didn’t code it yet. Skills are your proficiency at doing a certain thing, for example swordsmanship and archery. When you hit a mob with a sword or arrow you will improve the corresponding skill. Skills like archery and swordsmanship give bonus damage when using a weapon and skills like punching bag give you higher defence. Items, artifacts and the shop – Items in Defy are custom made and have their own properties like attack, defence or even health points (healing potions). You can get items by finding them in chests or by buying them in the shop with gold you get by killing mobs or selling items in the shop. Most of the items have something in common, you lose them when your dungeon run ends. Before you start raging, let me explain. The dungeon takes your items so you cant keep them. Now for real, there is one kind of item that is strong enough so escape the dungeon, because it bound to your soul. Those items are called artifacts, and there is a small chance of finding them every 5 floors, when the difficulty drastically rises. You can see something that hints that in the gameplay, every item’s last line tells if it’s a normal item or an artifact.
