the lag has seem to go away but now like every couple minutes it douse the rubber banding

i just started my account today and started a mine craft survival server with my friend. since after 30 minutes of playing the game has became almost unplayable due to the immense amount of lag. After breaking and/or roughly 3-5 blocks the game rubber band us both back to where we were and sometimes be stuck in blocks. im just wondering if anyone else is having this problem, and If so please reply underneath
