Hey, I'm going to jump to a conclusion here and say you're having difficulties granting yourself "op" on your Minehut server.

If I'm right, here are the required steps to do so. Go to minehut.com > click dashboard > start up your server > Apperance > scroll to "Input Server Command" > then type "/op (username)"

I've left a tutorial here if this wasn't informative enough.

[FINDING STRONGHOLD]

Hey, I can understand the difficulty in finding a stronghold which is why I'm gonna provide you with a solution that should hopefully assist the issue.

Firstly, throw the eye of ender then find the spot where the eye of ender hovers. Lastly, dig straight down to find the stronghold.

Hey, Unfortunately we can't be on all the time. Some users tend to get away with breaking our rules in the moment but if people wouldn't mind taking a minute or 2 out of their day to report the user on our forums we'd get around to issuing a punishment if we feel one is necessary.

On Minehut we would love to have staff covering a variation of different timezones but unfortunately this just isn't the case as of right now. A lot of our staff are American meaning that lobby chats might become saturated during EU times. We try to find a balance between them but it's not always easy. We encourage users to apply for staff if they believe they're qualified and devoted enough.

It goes without notice that this user is very active and helpful within the community and staff are very grateful towards users like it. They don't always get the recognition they deserve from us but we do acknowledge their work. Obviously if  that user is willing to apply it's their own choice but Minehut doesn't handpick staff and all applicants must be treated fairly.

Hey, I'm not going to try defend Minehut as your opinion here seems pretty firm and you tend to think we're making up excuses when in actuality we're not, but everyone is entitled to their opinions. We hope for Minehut to improve as time goes on for our playerbase, as both Mod and active community member and user of Minehut I can understand that there's frustration with the amount of lag/downtime happening. It's not ideal for anyone.

Also, vanilla entities in Minecraft despawn in 5 minutes, if you haven't reached your items by then it could explain why they despawned. If you want your items to not drop when you die simply type "/gamerule keepInventory true" and this will disable items dropping on death.

Hey, chat was muted yesterday as there was a lack of staff presence on lobby to accommodate the huge spike in players we had. Obviously having to resort to muting lobbies isn't something we strive to do but it is something we hope to improve on in the future.

[How do I remove the red name color that op's get with essentials.]

Hey, this can be quite difficult to do. But once you get the hang of navigating your config folders it's pretty straightforward.

To do this go to your Console > File Manager tab > click the "Plugins" folder > click the "Essentials" folder > click "config,yml" > then scroll down to "Essentials Global" and you'll be met with "ops-name.color: (color)" replace the color with the word "none" > restart your server.

[How do I reset server without deleteing world]

Hey, unfortunately if you reset your server you will loose all the progress and data held within it. Have you tried this method by any chance?

Go to your server console > Danger Zone tab > click " Repair Files" > hibernate your server for a few minutes

[I bought the daily server plan, put my playerlist at 20 but I've never seen my player count go above 9.]

Hey, in order to accustom your playercount to the plan you're on you'll need to change a setting in your servers console.

Once you're on your console go to Settings > slide the "Max Players" slider to 20 > restart your server.

 

 

[Cross Play Servers?]

Hey, there's no specific plugin that allows players to crossplay. If you want to crossplay with a user from Bedrock then they should be able to join your server automatically.

[Autoclickers and other hacks :)]

Hey, Minehuts rules directed towards player servers are very limited. We like our users to be able to do what they want with their server.

To answer your question, it's 100% okay to use hacks such as autoclicking on your own server and Minehut will not intervene with that whatsoever.

Hey, default server version are "1.16.4" please make sure you're connecting through that version. 

If you'd like to change your server version to be compatible with older versions of Minecraft you will need to install the ProtocolSupport. In order to do this you'll need to go to your console > plugins > search "Protocol Support" > Install > restart the server.

Hey, if it's not working via console try this command below:

/difficulty (insert difficulty)

This doesn't require you to restart your server and is also more efficient and effective.

Hey, this could be simply because you're connecting through the wrong version. Although Minehut supports version 1.8 - 1.16.4 most servers are set for users to only be able to connect through the 1.16.4 version. To change this ProtocolSupport or the ViaVersion plugins are required.
