It's always a challenge in trying to get the best staff team but I believe this is a very mature and competent staff team. We will be working on the organisation of it but as you know like every thing newly formed it takes time to gell together. You cant get your items back unless you toggle into creative and get them back. I recommend putting your server on whitelist so this scenario wont reoccur. To whitelist simply op yourself in console do /whitelist on then /whitelist add (username)

To report a player you can go to this link https://forums.minehut.com/forum/23-player-reports/ But in your case this isnt Minehuts fault and I dont believe its required for them to take any action on the player. I recommend trusting players before giving them any permissions.
