Hey, How do I make people spawn outside of the mine? /mrl settp (mine name) does not work, is there another way or do I do something wrong? (I set the spawn outside of the mine)

Hello, I'm quite new and started a Box Server with a friend. Everything is working out very well, but there's one thing I can't figure out. How do I keep me as an Owner in creative? Everytime I join a new world or go back to /spawn it sents me back into Survival which is annoying. Thanks for your help!
