One day while wondering in a national park named North Sulawesi a photographer David Slater lost his camera only to find it later with a Macaque monkey selfie on it! No seriously this monkey picked up the camera and took a selfie. The best part is for years there has been a legal battle over who owns the legal rights to the photo David or the monkey or maybe no one? Yes its stupid and yes it happened last update being in 2018. I could provide details about the court case but only if people want it. I could also make this in to a forums series I know lots of weird unbelievable stories from my interests in history and anthropology if people are interested. Here is the selfie V

It costs Minehut more money the more slots you have because you will need more ram. It's a free server if you want more you will need to pay. However if you vote everyday you can get a plan for near free.

Hello, Minehut doesn't enforce the EULA that is the job of Mojang. When sent a EULA take down notice Minehut passes it on to the server owner who then can choose comply or not. Regardless Minehut with most likely suspend the the server. If you want to make a difference report the violators to Mojang.

Few more things to clarify on Minehut is a business. Remember how Minehut has shut down many times in the past? It's because its not cheap to exist in the first place. As I said the rules on swearing is for much needed sponsorship/advertisers/ partners. To complain about the server's plugin limit and ram, but then reject necessary rule changes doesn't make sense. If we want better servers we need more money and that means going child friendly. As for player servers being a business and p2w that is an entirely different problem. Minehut does not enforce the EULA that is the responsibility of Mojang. This also means that you guys are entirely in the right to report those servers to Mojang and we will pass on the information to server owners. If you wish to make a change this is the best course of action.

As an ex-mod in the "old minehut times" and a current mod rn here are my opinions down below The "kid-friendly" rules are there because of sponsorship companies for SLG and Minehut. Remember SLG partners with the likes of Nickelodeon and other children oriented services. They requested the rules it's not Trent's or the staff's fault. It costs a lot of money to run a server like Minehut more than I or any player will ever know. I don't feel restricting the use of swear words is silencing free speech. It's simply not that hard to type a msg without them. In the VCs I understand and most mods understand that it comes naturally while speaking so we tend to be much more understanding. I and many other staff would like to interact with the community more and we try our best to, but you guys must understand we are very busy managing not only our own social lives, school/work, and on top of that Minehut. People like to think the staff don't do anything but the truth is we do a lot 90% of it being unseen by the players. The job does effect us, As for game modes we would like to try and bring better events and servers for users to play on. Benny and I were wanting to do Warzone Classic, but we need to find the right dev for the job. But right now fixing the bot and lobby spam problem is a pressing issue. The days of everyone knowing each-other are gone because Minehut has grown. I honestly am okay with that brings in fresh faces while keeping the old ones close. Plus now we're not some sort of unstable nuclear bomb of a community waiting to go off on each other anymore lol.

Hummmmm I have an interesting and pretty simple project if you want to do some skripting. I am planing an SMP chaos edition (google chaos edition games if you want to get the jist) its pretty much just a skript that will mess with players on a timer and randomly selected functions. My plan is to get a bunch of MH skripters to all make one trolly function then put it all together with the random sector. If you want to to make a function for the skript you can Rules: - The function can't crash the server - Should be something you can still play the game with like can't freeze a player for an hour or something too mean - The more unique and funny the better.. ex: anvils spawning and falling on a player.

You don't even know what shadow and I have done to servers using their command blocks. The classic is to hook up the TP block to a repeater. Once we even were in a discord with the kids when we did it because they accidentally leaked the discord link and we silently went in. One of my favs I can remember though was the time we hooked up a cmd and started spamming the nearest player with some horror story of Slice Jackson and the entire server was so confused xD that's not even a fraction of the adventures and stories I have. Also oddly enough the darkest era of Minehut "The Dragon Lobby Shutdown" was one of the BEST times of all for server adventures because basically every single one there was something to do and a spawn to glitch out of. I learned so many of my escape strats and glitches because I don't use hacks that's lame and boring. Some of the strats to this day server owners don't realize are possible, and I will keep them to myself for now lol. (Side note as a staff member I don't encourage the use of hacked clients or glitching out of servers/messing with command blocks/greifing these are pearly past stories)
