  1. @Sonic_Hedgehog1 If you need to know how to op yourself (making yourself an operator, which will give you access to all commands) then simply go to your console and in the section to enter a server command (in the Home tab) put in /op <your username>. If you're asking how to set up permissions for other people then you'd need to get a plugin like LuckPerms, Groupmanager, or PEX, all of which have many tutorials you could find on how to use.
  2. You can restrict certain commands for some people, for both groupmanager and pex it's the same as giving them the permission but you simply put a "-" before the permission node. For example: /pex user PyroDellz add -essentials.fly which would make it so even if I had access to all other commands, I wouldn't have access to /fly. This might not work for ops though, what you could do is just give them the "*" permission (/pex user PyroDellz add * or /manuaddp PyroDellz *) which would give the user access to all commands, then from there you can define which ones you specifically don't want them to have.

    oof

    what is this post
  4. Yeah I've never seen that happen before with spectator, I'd actually suggest using your 2nd server slot (unless you're already using it) to test this. Just start downloading each of the plugins you have on your current server onto the test server one by one, and trying to do spectator mode each time so you can try and find out which one is messing it up. It's possible the error isn't related to plugins at all though- but I'm starting to run out of ideas lol.
  5. Huh, I'm not sure then. I'm unfamiliar with a few of those plugins so it's possible it could be one of them, but I feel like if it was there'd be some error message or something. Maybe try to fly in spectator again, but then afterwards go check your server logs in file manager to see if maybe there's something showing up in there.
  6. Have you been able to test and see if anybody else has the problem or is it just you?
  7. Did you have to restart the server or notice it having any issues on the control panel? I'd suggest checking your logs from file manager to see if you can find out anymore from there.
  8. Hmmm, I've never heard of that happening before with spectator mode. Make sure that flight is enabled for your server (can be changed from the Server Properties tab.) Also make sure that you didn't just accidentally do /fly while you were in spectator or creative in which case it'd disable it.
  9. @LyricFox When you say you can't fly at all, does it give some error message, is it kicking you when you try to, or do you do double space and simply nothing happens?
  10. Thanks. I was worried some people might take it too seriously when I had posted it but I'm glad to see it looks like it was received well lol.
  11. Could you elaborate on what you mean? If you're referring to credits spent on your server to increase player slots & RAM go to the Server Properties tab of the control panel, where one of the options will be something along the lines of "Maximum Players"- clicking it should open a dropdown menu where you can select which plan you'd like to use. Then simply choose the 10 player one for 0 Credits/Day and you won't be charged anymore of your credits. If that's not what you meant could you explain what subscription you're talking about?
  12. I've been bored lately so now I'm spending more time on the forums because that's pretty fun.

    My Account lInk

What you need to do is go to the minehut control panel profile page and click the Remove Account button at the top (It should say "Remove Account" if it is already linked, if it just says "Link Account" then it was never linked in the first place.) After that refresh the page and you should now be able to click Link Account - do that and copy the command it gives you, from there simply go to the minehut lobby and paste in that command with the string and it'll link your new account.
  14. Could you elaborate more on what you mean?

    Minehut Is Broken

For the past few days minehut has been having an issue with the amount of active servers reaching minehuts max capacity, so you probably had just tried to start your server at a time when all the slots were full, in which case it would begin starting and then just go back to offline like you had said was happening for you. If you notice this I'd suggest checking the minehut panel homepage to see if there are any available server slots (towards the bottom of the page there are 2 blue bars, the top one shows the number of active servers/the total number of minehut server slots). If you tried starting it while there are enough available server slots and it still doesn't work then I'd recommend trying what @Clarifity had suggested.
  16. I'm sure that's exactly what an Icelander would want us to think...
  17. (ik the mods do try and help everyone it's just for the meme lol)
  18. It's possible you just tried starting it during a time when minehut was at it's max server capacity (which has been happening frequently the past few days due to a large influx of players) and might have just been coincidence it happened at the same time. Try starting it at a later time when there aren't as many servers online (you can check here: https://minehut.com/ - towards the bottom of the page there are 2 bars, the top one displays how many servers are currently online / the total server capacity)

    Server List

I'd recommend doing what Unburnable said as well, though the way you do this is simply go into Server Appearance and in the Server Visibility segment select the Unlisted box.
  20. I think I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that.
  21. What's your opinion on people with opinions?
  22. Have you considered getting more help with some of the simpler stuff like building? I know that it might make the server not feel as much like how you had wanted it with other peoples building styles, but seeing as this looks like it's going to be a fairly lengthy project it might be worth considering so the rest of you can work on the textures, music, items & lore. Besides, as long as you get someone good enough they could probably make whatever you're going for pretty well, possibly with some monitoring and help along the way to make sure they're getting it how you want it.
  23. I'm running a server that will get up to ~6-10 players quite often but I've been noticing that for the past few weeks the server will freeze for a good 10-15 seconds whenever somebody joins, sometimes resulting in multiple people getting kicked and being unable to log back in. At the worst times (usually whenever multiple people try to join at once) everyone will be kicked and won't be able to rejoin until the server restarts even though the minehut panel says it's still up. As you can imagine this makes it very frustrating for players, and in most cases when a new player who isn't extremely attached to the server gets kicked and can't immediately log back in, 4/5 times they'll simply join a different server instead of waiting- which will result in the server players going from 8 to 3 very quickly. I'm almost certain this doesn't have to do with not having enough RAM, for just a few days ago I upgraded to a 2 GB slot and the same problem still occurs just as frequently- meaning it's most likely an error on minehuts behalf. I'm pretty sure this error started happening around the time minehut updated to 1.14.3, so I'm not certain if that had to do with it but it's the only thing I can think of seeing as I definitely hadn't gotten any new plugins or anything like that at the time it started. If anyone else has been having the same issue or any possible solutions I'd greatly appreciate to know, as at this point it's beginning to make the server nearly unplayable.
