Information / History
Soccer was originally developed in 2016 by Tpindell, with the assistance of RedDemptr, and built by YouTubeJr and Desfile (LT36). It quickly became one of the most popular, unique, and original Minecraft servers to ever hit Minehut, attracting the attention of Minehut founder Luke, as well as other former administrators. What makes this game particularly impressive is that it was developed entirely using command blocks. No plugins were used in its creation, yet the developers were able to create realistic soccer ball physics and mechanics that were almost unbelievable to see in completely vanilla Minecraft - all the way back in 2016.
And now 7 years later, the game is back and better than ever before. We've completely revamped the arena and the backend of the server, using Skript to improve performance and meet the latest standards and quality that the community expects. We are super proud to bring this classic minigame back to life, and we hope that everyone enjoys the experience.
