You can only play Minehut server on Java, not PE.

Yeah, the permissions/group plugin that you install is your call.

I would recommend LuckPerms. If you need help using it then you can find some tutorials on the Minehut YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3pD8Ghxh7nAhpnhkClCuHg)

Assign the permission to yourself using the groups plugin on your server.

The permissions are my custom ranks. If you want, you can replace "if {rank::%uuid of executor%} is "owner" or "manager" or "admin":" with "if executor has permission "p.node":"

For now, I would uninstall it in order to fix the issue and find an alternative plugin. However, in terms of why this is happening, give your logs a check to see if there's any answers. To check your logs, either run the command /dl logs in game OR go into your File Manager and check the logs in there.

Unfortunately, you are unable to create a Bedrock Server, you can only create a Java Server.

This isn't the responsibility of Minehut, meaning you will have to consult management of that server in order to address your situation.

You must be using version 1.15.1 (Correct me if I'm wrong). Go ahead an downgrade to 1.15 and you should be able to join. Just for future reference, use the Community Support section for questions like these

Minehut has been updated to 1.15 so you can't join on older versions. As ProtocolSupport isn't available with this update, you'll need to get the following plugins: ViaVersion: Base Plugin for the next two ViaBackwards: Support from 1.9-1.14.4 ViaRewind: Support from 1.8-1.8.8 In terms of your other question, I'm not too sure on that, so I'd stick around for another response
