+ I tried to go to the backup, but it made a backup as soon as I entered the new world so I couldn't

My friend and I were playing late into the night, then we go to sleep, and when I'm playing again the next morning were in a completely new world with none of our stuff, our world just reset or smth. Does anyone know how this could have happened and if we can get our world back?
