I have installed the Wilderness TP plugin onto my Minehut server. I want normal players to use it as my server is an SMP, so I add the permission wildernesstp.command.wild to the default group with PermissionsEX so players can use the /wild command. No matter how many times I do it, that group cannot do /wild, they don't have permission. Why is this?

You can whitelist your server so only people you want can join. First do /whitelist on. This will turn on the whitelist. Then /whitelist add <player> and add you and your friends names. Then only people added to the whitelist can join.

You should probably should've posted that Here Also, be sure to look in the config files. I'm sure there's an option to enable it. If not, you could edit the winnings inside the config file
